FOOTHILLS PAINTERS

I was born in Santiago, Chile, and have been painting in my favorite medium, oil, for almost two decades in North Carolina.

 

I love to paint landscapes and people from the north, center and south parts of Chile, as well as flowers.

I paint objects and themes where light plays a key role, creating unique patterns and values of shades, allowing interplay with fascinating tones of warm and cool colors.

 

Bright colors are also fundamental to me and I really like to use them in all my painting in order to show the richness and contrasts of the different Hispanic cultures and unique landscapes.
